Reception of the sacraments is central to the life of St Dominic Catholic Church Parish. Preparation for the reception of Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation are all part of the Religious Education Program. 

St. Dominic Church provides religious instruction for children in grades K-12. Children are prepared to receive their First Holy Communion after at least two years of instruction, usually in the 2nd grade. Parent involvement is critical. Students who are Juniors or Seniors are prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation after two years of preparation. Parents are encouraged to be a part of this preparation.
