† Cross Bearer: Cross bearer leads entrance procession in the center of the isle, stands to the left at the altar, leaving room for C#1 and the deacon/presider. Sits in the first chair behind the deacon. Assists with the preparation of the altar and receiving of gifts/wine, standing to the right of the presider/deacon. Hands wine to the deacon and waits for the deacon to finish with the wine and water cruets, then assists with washing of hands. Kneels behinds his appropriate chair. Stands to the right of the presider/deacon for the “Our Father”. Assists with the breakdown of the altar and bows with all ministers toward the tabernacle when communion is done. Leads exit procession. Assists with preparations for the next mass.

C#1: Candle Holder #1: Walks in on the left, places candle on the left podium, sits on the chair closest to the Baptismal font behind the presider. Holds the Sacramentary for the presider. Leads the procession to the Ambo, standing to the right facing inward. Assists with the preparation of the altar, receiving the gifts, standing on the left of the presider and assists with the washing of hands. Kneels behind his appropriate chair. Stands to the left of the presider/deacon for the “Our Father”. Assists with the breakdown of the altar and bows with all ministers toward the tabernacle when communion is done. Carries candle during exit procession. Assists with preparations for the next mass.

C#2: Candle Holder #2: Walks in on the right, places candle on the right podium, sits on the middle chair, behind the presider. Walks behind the deacon during the procession to the Ambo, stands to the left facing inward. Assists with the preparation of the altar, receiving of gifts, standing to the left of the presider, next to C#1, assists with the washing of hands. Kneels behind his appropriate chair. C#2 Rings the bells during consecration. Stands to the left of the presider/deacon, next to C#1 for the “Our Father”. Assists other servers with the breakdown of the altar and bows with all ministers toward the tabernacle when communion is done. Carries candle during exit procession. Assists with preparations for the next mass. PLEASE NOTE: If you are not able to serve on your scheduled date/time, it is YOUR responsibility to find someone who can cover for you.
