What's Happening at our Parish
Our Adoration Chapel is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Come spend an hour with Jesus.
Every Monday, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm the 15 Mysteries of the Holy Rosary are recited in the Adoration Chapel. The Holy Rosary tells the story of our salvation. All are welcome!
Even though the Year of Mercy has ended, let us continue to draw closer to God, let us all practice the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.
The Corporal Works of Mercy
• Feed the hungry
• Give drink to the thirsty
• Clothe the naked
• Shelter the homeless
• Visit the sick
• Visit the imprisoned
• Bury the dead
The Spiritual Works of Mercy
• Admonish the sinner
• Instruct the ignorant
• Counsel the doubtful
• Comfort the sorrowful
• Bear wrongs patiently
• Forgive all injuries
• Pray for the living and the dead
Have you checked this website? The third most common religion is Fallen-Away Catholics. Let’s bring them home! Unfortunately, most of them are our own families. Invite a family member or friend who has been away to attend a Sunday Mass with you, pray with them, break bread with them. Let them know that they are welcomed back.
But do you care what YOU wear?
We dress for church to show reverence, not for show, or to bring attention to ourselves. Most of us dress with our "Sunday Best".
"Sunday Best" is different for everyone. It depends on upbringing, culture, affordability and most of all "reverence" to the man who died for us.
If we were to meet the President, meet a celebrity, go on an interview, we certainly wouldn't show up in a t-shirt, tank top, shorts or flip flops. We would dress to impress. God isn't asking us to impress his Son. Just show respect as you would the President or a celebrity.
Food for thought, when you get ready to attend mass on Sunday, ask yourself, how would I dress for the man who gave his life for me?
Jesus is present at the sacrifice of the Mass.
