Our Challenge

After much prayerful discernment, study and discussion, Father Eric and the parish leadership have decided to undertake a parish-wide capital campaign entitled “Together We Build...” to raise the funds necessary to build our new church and to make several campus improvements.

This new 18,275 square-foot church will provide us with the space to comfortably seat 900 people which will more than double our current capacity.

The new church master plan includes:
  • 800 seats in the actual worship space
  • 100 seats in a day chapel also used for seasonal overflow
  • Dedicated choir area with seating for 20 people
  • Cry room for 15 people with adjoining bathroom
  • Bride's Room with access to the Women's bathroom
  • Porte-Cochere for convenient drive-up drop-offs
  • Reconciliation Room with option behind screen or face-to-face
  • Clergy sacristy with adjoining bathroom
  • Baptismal font designed for both infant and adult (RCIA) baptisms
  • Dedicated niches in the church for statues, votive candle stands and private devotion
  • Twice as many parking spaces, placed around our property
  • A new exit out of the back of our property to improve traffic flow

The goal of the “Together We Build...” Capital Campaign is to raise $2,000,000 in pledges and gifts toward the overall cost of the project, which is approximately $4,000,000. These new monies from the capital campaign, in addition to the $1,800,000 we have in our Building Fund, will enable us to begin this final phase of seeing our dreams come true. These are great and exciting times for our St. Dominic family. The time has come so that “Together We Build...”
